There’s a guitar company out of Memphis Tennessee called Black Sun Limited. They are making some quality guitars that no one else can touch. They just started a couple months ago and already have endorsements from 920D Custom and Schaller. I went ahead and ordered one as they are not sitting on shelves at any stores yet and have to be custom ordered. You can really feel quality in these instruments. I was very impressed and thought I’d spread the word to the community. I’m always looking for new guitars to add to the collection as I’m sure all of you are! Check these guys out on Facebook at Black Sun Limited. I noticed there are very few pictures as they are up and coming but let’s give them a like and share and blow these guys up!

I’ve certainly gotten a few top quality guitars from smaller builders lately, and loved them – I’ve got an Ormsby out of Australia that’s to die for and a one-off built by Nate Perle that gets a lot of love on Insta, so let me know how it is once you get it. If they’re top-quality instruments, I’ll certainly give them a fair shake. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another guitar again that doesn’t have SS fretwork, though.

Ed I agree! Nickel frets to me feel gritty when I bend! Stainless steel is the way to go! According to Black Sun Limited, they only use Jescar Stainless Steel Frets! I will definitely let you know how it is when I get mine. So far what I’ve played has been flat out awesome! I will definitely check out Ormsby as well thank you!
