Overview of the Pentatonic 2-3 Solo Pattern – Lesson 70

In this lesson we spread the Pentatonic scale out over the entire fretboard.

Syn’s Tips

Play along to the backing track located in the “content” menu of the lesson player.

Take the time to learn this in all of the positions of the pentatonic scale and then go crazy and work out this concept in all of your scales and modes. It’s a lot of work but it is well worth it!

Ask questions if your having a tough time. You can also upload videos of yourself showing us exactly what you’re having trouble with in the "Lesson Comments" section below. We all look forward to helping you!

Nate Stranieri Are u guys planning on creating a lesson about dialing in tone? I just bought a compression pedal and am working on getting a metalish tone? Anyone have any tips on using the combination of distortion and compressor together to create the best tone. I have a Boss CS-3 compressor if that matters.
