Beka Kabanashvili I guess I’ll need to learn this to play buried alive solo properly.

Clem Dec Doing 12-19 for me is just impossible... I've tried so hard but I barely can't make it to 18 🙁

Syn Gates Ya it's tough for me too, I must admit that I do have big hands but have seen others with much smaller pull this off. You have to find a SAFE way of making the stretch that works for you, everybody is different and this takes some experimenting unfortunately. I wish I could help more with this one. I know you can do it though and when you figure it out, please share with us I know there are many others struggling with the same issue

Devin Jarrett Yes, this is part of the buried alive solo, and the beginning of the buried alive solo's arpeggios are covered in his first sweep picking etudes. hope this helps you tackle it, im still working hard to get the picking down! 🙂

Dylan Tower Hey syn, I've had a really rough go of it trying to tastefully use sweeping in my own solos. I feel like I can never find the right place to use it. Any tips?

Syn Gates Maybe try transcribing solos from different artists that do it tastefully to you. I usually like to build up to faster patterns like these and then into a big bend, then maybe back into a melodic motif. Everything should have a structure to it even when improvising.
