Shred it! 🎸🔊
Okay, bear with me. After the little talk I had with @[1427:@Ed Seith] and @[63867:@Ojas Sapkota] in the forum I was curious how long I need to warm up these days to get Creep and Master up to speed. I did warm up about 30-40 minutes for this BUT I realized (as I barely played to backing tracks before) that I've been playing Creep way too fast. Now I got issues with the timing when playing to a track, that's why I mess up the downpicking with Creep quite a bit. I think I tried to play Master too fast too (but failed) so when putting on the backing track to Master it was quite easy to play it up to speed. I don't know the whole songs so I can't tell you how it feels like to play this speed for 5 min + so this might be the next thing to experiment on.
Hey everyone! I just finished another guitar cover. This time I played a Metallica classic: For Whom The Bell Tolls. I recorded the bass part but there is no video footage of it since I do not have it with me at the moment u.u Any feedback is appreciated! P.S. All hail the kitten in the corner!
Trying out a lot of new stuff. I use a smaller pick, have a new rhythm tone and it's the first time I kinda managed to play it standing up, which is insane to me. There are a couple of parts I really messed up, a) because of timing or b) because it's still awkward to play. But it's so fun to practice this one to the track.

SOAD - Chop Suey
It was going to be a #metalminute video but I couldnt leave the chorus out of this as to me is one of the best parts of the song, and the clean guitar is awesome! Far from perfect but so much fun to play, going from slow clean guitar parts to some crazy riffs xD

I like the idea of diddling something of your own in middle or in the end of a cover solo. If anyone else does this kinda thing let me know. It's the absolute best.
Was just feeling like recording my progress this evening. I never listened to me playing this song because I always have ear buds in to hear the song while playing. Haven't learned the repetitions on the outro and messed up the pre solo riff. Really gotta work on that one. Surprised I managed to play the solo with the Wah. Lol

🇪🇦No dejes de aprovechar el tiempo de cuarentena para volver a estudiar tus solos favoritos! Hay mucho que puedes re-descubrir! El estilo particular de Marty Friedman está muy basado en utilizar...
Evanescence The Weight of the World
Not exactly like the original, didnt play the acoustic part and changed the lick at the end, I think it turned out really well, the end of the lick is pretty much the same what Terry plays anyway xD Few things is theres a part where I play some octaves and doing that standing up I had to use my index and pinky instead of the index and ring fingers :o The little "solo" at the end while I was trying it sitting was so easy and standing up I had to bend myself and adjust the guitar a lot so I could reach the frets I wanted xD But anyway enjoyed a lot! Sorry about the quality its supposed to be 1080p but I think my phone is going crazy xD

I was nominated by a friend Adam Lutz. Hoping to see my buddy Nick Ulmer post, who also was a former band member with me. I nominated some fellow Synyster Gates Master Class winners, check them out! Adam Dominguez, @jamespaullagraff, and @swain033. Krys Escobar was another, but he already had one done.
Recorded over the original track using Audacity. My daughter as special guest xD @[5:@Jak Angelescu] playing standing up and full song :P Ignore my video edit skills xD
@[3987:@Dominik Graeber] here it is...is a bit shit but just had part of the afternoon to "learn" the intro xD Next one I'll take a bit more time with it, maybe if Im in quarantine xD
My take on Hail to the King. All guitars are me. All vocals are by my buddy Sameer.
After about 6000+ takes, here is the sweep picking section to Selkies The Endless Obsession by Between the Buried and Me. This was the solo that made me want to sweep pick more than anything many moons ago! (a little added alternate picking wankery in the beginning of the video)
