From Melbourne, Australia. Have played guitar long enough to be way better than I am. If I'm not playing guitar I am usually shooting bad guys on PS4 or chasing bad guys at work ๐Ÿš”

It’s a cool tool to learn the basics but it is no replacement for a good teacher. It is fun though and a cool way to learn new songs, I personally set the song to 100% and then practice sections in riff repeater, slowly raising the speed.

It also introduced me to some cool tunes I may not have otherwise listened to.

I have it on PS4 but bought it again recently on PC, mainly to set it up on my daughters laptop so she can use it in her room with her bass.

For me it was because of a friend at school. He was learning drums and suggested I learn guitar so we could jam. It took a bit of convincing the parents but they eventually came around to the idea.

Hmm, I would likely pick up an ESP Sankebyte, a nice Cole Clark acoustic, and maybe an Axe-fx for the tones. Dont think there would be much change out of 10 grand after those 3.
