So Far Away – Avenged Sevenfold (first solo)

When I first did this solo, I was kinda happy with how I did it. The more I listen to (See more) it now, the more I hate it. I know I need a lot more practice and need to walk before I try to run. Sorry I'm just feeling kinda crappy with the slow progress. I started off so strong and learnt as much as I could and now I feel like it's all just come to a lull.. anyway, here goes nothing. There's also a bum note at the end, sorry about that!

Supraja Vadlamani thanks man! I'm working on using 3 fingers for the vibrato! 😀

Jak Angelescu OH MY GOSH GIRL! I am SO happy to see you finally were able to post your video! I noticed you were talking about having issues on the forum the other day. I am SO thrilled to see you doing a great wrist vibrato AND doing it on the clean channel! You're well on your way! The one thing I'd like to suggest, is that when you do a bend, I notice you'll keep your index and ring finger down but not your middle one like at the 0:15 mark. You'll want to keep all fingers behind the fretting finger down because for one, it reinforces the bend to make it stronger and more controlled, and secondly if you want to do a descending run after it you'll want that ring finger down already to make that descending run transition more smoothly. Keep it up!
