So basically DC music school has this thing that you can get some backing tracks and chord diagrams for free of a bunch of gypsy jazz songs. I was looking at for example the chord diagram of Minor swing and i know that it is Am6|Dm6|E7|Am6|Dm6|Am6|F7|E7|Am6|E7 however this diagram said it was just Am Dm not Am6 and Dm6. This is the same for the diagrams of the other songs. Should I just consider every chord being a m6 or maj6 chord or am I thinking to easy about it then?

I use to play minor swing with Am7/Dm7 and it sounds good to me. I don’t know if it is wrong or not. The truth is that you will rarely see m or maj chords in jazz. It’s all about 4 voice chords .

I happen to know the chords of minor swing. It actually is Am6|dm6|e7|am6|DM6|am6|f7|e7|am6|e7
Just the chord diagrams confuse me a bit because I don’t really know them for all the other songs😅
